Vitrines sur l’Art

18 institutions, 19 artists, 22 showcases in the heart of your cities! For the 8th consecutive year, Galeries Lafayette presents the event “Vitrines sur l’Art” from July 5 to 30, 2016 in five French cities – Bordeaux, Marseille, Nantes, Strasbourg and Toulouse. A total of 18 cultural institutions and museums are invited to invest in the showcases of these stores.
This year, the region is once again in the spotlight, through these five cities that offer a rich, innovative and international cultural o rea. For this new edition, each of the institutions, echoing their own programming, is partnering with a French or international artist to present a new work or installation for their windows.
With “Vitrines sur l’Art”, Galeries Lafayette once again asserts its role as a mediator between art, creation and the general public. Thanks to the works of the 19 artists represented, Galeries Lafayette’s showcases will offer a panoramic view of the cultural offerings of these five cities.
