Saazbuzz Jazz Festival

Much more than a simple festival, the Jazz Festival, SaazBuzz which opens its first edition in Paris from 11 to 13 June 2025, brings together musicians from the Middle East, North Africa (MENA) and other regions of the world to explore jazz as a space for artistic dialogue where music becomes a way to rethink identity, encourage understanding beyond words and explore the links between cultural heritage and improvisation.

An idea that places the traditions of the Arab world and the Middle East, jazz and artistic exchange at the center of musical expression. This festival brings together artists whose music carries a deep cultural history while embracing the possibilities of the present.  Here, jazz and improvisation are not simply genres, but tools to question certainties, open new soundscapes and create unexpected dialogues.

Paris, with its heritage as the world’s jazz capital, is the perfect setting for this exploration. As a city where generations of artists have found inspiration and music has always been a bridge between cultures, Paris is the perfect stage for the first European chapter of SaazBuzz. Here, musicians from MENA and beyond come together to reinterpret musical identity, push artistic boundaries and invite the audience to a unique listening experience.
