Saint-Émilion · Château La Dominique
27.06.19 → 25.08.19
For its second edition of summer exhibition, Château La Dominique continues the reflection initiated in 2018 around the place of red in art. The theme chosen by Camille Poupon (communications director) and Guillaume de Sardes (curator) is red as the color of commitment. Political commitment, of course, but in the broadest sense of all that touches the polis, that is, the life of the city. The exhibition includes different mediums: painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, video, installation.
The artists presented are : Danielle Arbid, Mike Bouchet, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Orianne Castel, Judy Chicago, Robert Combas, mounir fatmi, Jérémy Gobé, Thierry Jadot, Daido Moriyama, Jean-Pierre Raynaud, Andres Serrano, Jan Vercruysse, Heimo Zobernig.
An in situ installation, La Liberté guidant la laine, will be created by Jérémy Gobé.
