Lux 2.0, Opening

The renovation of LUX 2.0 responds to the need to create a scenographic tool that was missing from his multidisciplinary artistic project. The work has transformed the large hall to give it the possibility of hosting dance and music performances in dialogue with images, immersive, ambulatory or collaborative performances. The hall becomes a qualifying space with a stage that can be modulated in size, a very comfortable seating for the audience, innovative technological equipment in sound, light, digital arts and cinema projection.

The project is managed by Valence Romans Sud Rhône-Alpes, with funding from the State and the Rhône-Alpes Region (total cost of the work: €1.5 million), plus stage equipment (€287,000) financed by the State, the Region, the Drôme General Council, the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’image animée and LUX 2.0’s own funds.

Project management is provided by the Atelier Peytavin of Montpellier (Yvan PEYTAVIN Architect DPLG Scenographer).
