Masterpiece

By organizing an event on the dates initially occupied by the Paris Biennale in September, Mathias Ary Jan wishes to encourage art lovers to return to the galleries, since the major Parisian Salons of the autumn will not take place in this very special year. Thus, at the Ary Jan Gallery, the new school year will open with a new exhibition named Masterpiece. Guided by a particularly selective choice, Mathias Ary Jan wished to unveil only about fifteen works that he considers to be masterpieces by selected artists.
The exhibition, which runs from September 18 to October 4, will take place at 32 avenue Marceau. Eager to receive art lovers around a daring artistic journey, he will unveil some nuggets of his recent acquisitions, with the museum quality of academic painting of the second half of the 19th century, offering varied subjects between East and West. Always eager to share his emotions and passions, the gallery owner has also selected more modern works and will present newly rediscovered cubist pieces.
