Cagnes-sur-Mer · Polygone Riviera
08.06.16 → 01.10.16
From June 8 to October 1, 2016, a group of works by Joan Miró is to be discovered in the heart of the site. With this exhibition, Polygone Riviera engages in a dialogue with the Maeght Foundation, located near the center, a historic and unmissable place of contemporary creation and one of the main cultural actors both regionally and internationally. This chapter revolves around an exhibition of sculptures by Joan Miró, a leading artist of contemporary art in Europe, one of the greatest creators of the 20th century and one of the major representatives of the Surrealist movement, who has forged close ties with the Maeght Foundation.
