Mediterranean Forum for Journalism – Marseille

Marseille ·

28.04.25 → 30.04.25

The Assises Méditerranéennes du Journalisme will be held in Marseille from April 28 to 30, 2025, following two editions in Tunis in 2018 and 2022.

The Assises bring together journalists, researchers, civil society players and media experts from both sides of the Mediterranean. They are also aimed at students, teachers and, above all, the general public.

The theme of this third Mediterranean edition is What kind of journalism in Africa and the Mediterranean for tomorrow?

The Assises create a space for dialogue and exchange on the contemporary challenges facing journalism, particularly in the context of conflicts (Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine, Yemen, Sudan…), massive disinformation and attacks on press freedom.

The Assises Méditerranéennes du Journalisme are organized by the Journalisme et Citoyenneté association, chaired by Jérôme Bouvier.

From April 28 to 30, debates, workshops, an Innovations Forum, two awards and three evening events.
