On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation, in a heritage and symbolic place of Saint-Malo, the chapel Sainte-Victoire, intramural.
A fashion icon of the Roaring Twenties, Lee Miller was also a renowned war reporter. On August 13, 1944, while the liberation of Saint-Malo is near, Lee is sent by the magazine Vogue UK to write a subject on the service of Civil Affairs. She was only 37 when she found herself the only war correspondent to testify about the liberation of Saint-Malo. 5 days during which Lee Miller photographed a brutal battle, a destroyed city.
