An exhibition devoted to the Summer 1992 Collection. In 1990, Azzedine Alaïa moved to 18 rue de la Verrerie in the Marais district of Paris. The spring-summer 1992 collection is the first collection he designed and presented at this address. This collection is a tribute to the Marquise de Pompadour who had received part of her education at this same address. The exhibition is accompanied by a book, Alchimie secrète d’une collection, published by Assouline. In 1991 Prosper Assouline had access to the studio and workshops, and thus became a privileged witness to the development of the Alaïa Été 1992 collection.
