HOME, is a major collaborative project between Fujifilm and Magnum Photos, involving 16 photographers and culminating in a five-city exhibition and photobook. Each participating Magnum photographer was invited to explore the subject of HOME – a theme chosen for its global nature and intrinsically human feeling – in his or her own style and sensibility. Together, these sixteen visual short stories create a poetic and complex portrait of what “home” is and what it can be.
The project will be presented in exhibitions in New York (Milk Gallery, March 2-14, 2018), London (The Vinyl Factory, May 18-27, 2018), Paris (Galerie Joseph, June 10-17, 2018), Toyko (Daikanyama Hill, July 21-30, 2018), Cologne (Koeln Messe, September 26-19) and in a commemorative photobook designed by Stuart. Each individual project is accompanied by a behind-the-scenes video, which gives a glimpse of the photographers’ motivation and ambitions for their work.
