Fotofest Meeting Place Paris

FotoFest (Houston, Texas), VU’ (Paris, France) and the Fonds Régnier pour la Création are pleased to announce the organization in Paris in early November of the “FotoFest Meeting Place Paris 2019”. This reading of internationally renowned portfolios will be open to photographers, both professionals and amateurs, who already have a significant practice in photography.

The “FotoFest Meeting Place Paris” will take place from Friday 1st to Monday 4th November 2019, just before the opening of Paris Photo 2019, in the premises of the Agency and the Gallery VU’ in the heart of Paris.
Participants in the readings will meet face-to-face with curators, gallery owners, publishers, editors and other photography experts from more than 12 countries in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. The FotoFest Meeting Place Paris 2019 is a real meeting place that will allow photographers to benefit from concrete advice and to seize professional opportunities conducive to the development of their career and the promotion of their work internationally.
Sessions of 1, 2 or 4 days are proposed. Photographers participating in the 4-day session of the FotoFest Meeting Place Paris 2019 will also be able to present and sell their prints during an evening open to the public: the Open Portfolio Night.

The Fonds Régnier pour la Création, in partnership with FotoFest, will award the first Prix Régnier to one of the photographers presented at the Paris 2019 portfolio readings. This prize will allow the winner to participate in the FotoFest Meeting Place 2020 event in Houston (US) by financing travel, accommodation, registration fees and the production of his/her portfolio.
