“Éloge de la tendresse radicale” by Clémentine de Chabaneix

After Animus in 2020, Pierre Passebon and Antonine Catzéflis present a new exhibition by Clémentine de Chabaneix at the Galerie du Passage – Pierre Passebon, Eloge de la tendresse radicale from November 22, 2023 to January 27, 2024.

Through some forty ceramic, bronze and aluminium sculptures, often of large format, the artist invests the spaces of the gallery and immediately immerses us in its multifaceted universe. A world out of a preeminent tale on the frontiers of dream and reality where unbridled, solar and yet somewhat dreamy creatures multiply our imagination tenfold and sharpen our perception of possibilities.

An ode to creation, a space displaced by blurred borders between the city and nature populated by blue rabbits, thirsty frogs and melancholic flowers. With her Eloge of Radical Tenderness, Clémentine de Chabaneix invites us to reflect on our relationship with Nature and our aspirations, whether utopian or not, from the quest for happiness to that of immortality.
