The only photography and music prize in France, every two years it rewards a project of original and cross-creative work by a photographer and a composer.
The winners of the 5th edition, Vincent Fournier (photography) and Sébastien Gaxie (music) present their project Auctus Animalis during a travelling exhibition and in a custom-made and atypical book on photography and music, produced in partnership with Filigranes Editions.

Auctus Animalis, augmented animal. It is an initiatory fable on the metamorphosis of hybrid species, a poetic questioning on the transformation of the living. At the crossroads of speculative biology and surrealism, Vincent Fournier and Sébastien Gaxie’s project is an astonishing futuristic bestiary combining history and anticipation, memory and science fiction. Auctus animalis questions the new possible relations with nature in our world of tomorrow.
