Last Paradise

Kourtney Roy (photography) and Mathias Delplanque (music) are the winners of the 6th edition of the Swiss Life 4 Hands Prize.
Their joint work, Last Paradise, will be unveiled at l’Aire during the Rencontres Photographiques d’Arles, then successively presented in Paris and the regions.

Last Paradise is an evocation in sound and image of the last holiday of a singular female character in a deserted seaside world. The project is rooted in the Rimini region of Italy, where the artist duo travelled in February 2024, out of season, to work on the conception of their joint work.
Last Paradise will be published in a bespoke 96-page artist’s book produced with Editions Filigranes, with a 45 rpm vinyl insert.

The Swiss Life 4 Hands Award
Created in 2014, it is the only photography and music prize in France. Intended to reveal talents, this artistic prize rewards every two years a cross-creative and original project of one photographer and a composer.
