Researchers, authors and artists will gather around the theme 2022, anchored in history and in our time: “The Mediterranean, a time of narratives. Between war and peace?

At a time when the European war is back, what about the Mediterranean world? Beyond fears, withdrawal and identity-based passions, the theatre of catastrophe and the staging of our collapses, what are the possible rebounds? Beyond the wars of memory, what are the needs of history? Between war and peace, between Europe and the Mediterranean, what are the great narratives that are taking shape in our societies? These questions will be debated during four round tables led by journalists.
Also: the Averroès Junior programme, which brings together secondary school pupils and students. In the evenings, a concert with Acid Arab live and Jawhar, a musical reading of Albert Camus’ First Man by Robin Renucci, an epic lecture-show by Jean-Yves Jouannais and a great evening around the association SOS Méditerranée.
