Lire et Faire Lire Association

Lire et faire lire is a national programme of openness to reading and intergenerational solidarity. Volunteers offer part of their free time to children to stimulate a taste for reading and literature.
Implemented jointly by the Ligue de l’enseignement and UNAF (National Union of Family Associations) throughout the country, Lire et faire lire is run by departmental coordinators who support the volunteers and provide the link with educational structures.
Conceived in 1999, the associative project was evaluated and updated on the occasion of the association’s 10th anniversary.
