Festival du Regard

It is in 2015, in the west of Paris, that the Festival du Regard was born, a new event in the Ile-de-France region, dedicated to the “8 art”. Its creator, Éric Vialatel, shares his passion for the image by installing photography in singular and sometimes unexpected places in his city: Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
Outdoors and indoors, the festival proposes a surprising and ambitious journey, alternating discoveries, surprises and photographic reunions in emblematic places of the architectural and historical heritage of the city.
As its name suggests, the Festival du Regard wishes to develop the singularity and richness of photographic writing.
Sylvie Hugues and Mathilde Terraube, artistic directors, are interested in the eye and the style of photographers who transcend reality, reinventing it and taking it with them to new heights.
