Since the early 2000s, Manabe and Ishibashi have been innovating artistically by taking advantage of technological developments: RFID, LEDs, video mapping, myoelectric sensors. Their objective: to create a porous zone between the real and the virtual, to incite awareness, to experiment the difference between perception and reality. Their interactive and playful installations and devices seek to stimulate the public’s imagination.
