La Ville au Corps

The Carreau du Temple organizes from April 14 to 17, a video art festival, La Ville au Corps, around urban issues in contemporary video. On the program, four days devoted to the thousand faces of the city through projections, meetings, ball(s), videos of artists in consultation.
The Carreau du Temple has therefore entrusted Jeanne Brun, director of the Fonds Municipal d’Art Contemporain (FMAC), and Jessica Castex, curator at the Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris, with the task of developing a reflection on the artistic representation of the city, which will give rise to this first event in April.
The four-day program, consisting of some forty videos, part of which come from the WVF’s collection, develops three axes, which take into account the cycles of existence of cities, from chaos to rebirth.
