Winners of the Terre Solidaire Photo Award

CCFD–Terre Solidaire presents the three winners of the first edition of its Terre Solidaire Photo Award, dedicated to environmental and humanist photography.

Emily Garthwaite, for her project “Light Between Mountain”

Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 7 pm, Sylvie Bukhari-de Pontual, President of the CCFD-Terre Solidaire and Sebastião Salgado, presented their prize to the Paris headquarters of the NGO.
The call for nominations for the Award was launched from September 3 to December 4, 2022.
For this first edition, 482 applications from 71 countries were registered.
A success that validates CCFD–Terre Solidaire’s approach to bringing together the world of photography and NGOs. Iran, Brazil, Burma, Ethiopia, Morocco, Italy, Serbia… The proposed photographic projects paint a striking portrait of the world and testify to the challenges that must be met to build a united land.
