An exhibition of photographs on the precariousness in rural areas in France. Hidden, invisible, in a geographical context where the habitat is dispersed, the precariousness in rural areas is a reality often passed under silence. Secours Catholique-Caritas France is an association that fights against all forms of poverty and exclusion and seeks to promote social justice. As a reminder of its motto: “to be close to those who are far from everything”, Secours Catholique-Caritas France has chosen 5 photographers Lionel Charrier, Pierre Hybre, Olivier Jobard, Alain Keler and Ulrich Lebeuf to go and meet these forgotten people and give an account of the different realities of this poverty in rural France. Five photographers to give a face to precariousness, to raise public awareness and to change our view of poverty.
